Every figure is calculated from your answers against industry benchmarks for your specific trade. The lead conversion opportunity, for example, is calculated using your reported monthly lead volume, your close rate, your average job value, and the benchmark close rate for your trade — not a generic average.
The calculations are intentionally conservative. We apply a recovery factor of 25–40% to the theoretical maximum gap — meaning the figures shown are achievable, not aspirational. The total is also capped at 28% of your reported revenue, which keeps the numbers grounded in what's actually recoverable through operational improvements rather than systemic reinvention.

The numbers are only as accurate as the answers you provided. If you reported a close rate of 55% but your actual close rate is closer to 35%, the gap calculation will be off accordingly — because it's using what you told it.
The most common disagreement is that people feel the opportunity is overstated. In our experience, the opposite is usually true — the opportunity is underestimated because the calculations use conservative recovery rates and don't capture second-order effects like compounding retention improvement or referral chains.
