Why I built this
Here's what bothered me about the home service industry: contractors are among the most skilled, hardest-working business owners in the country. A great plumber, a sharp HVAC tech, a roofer who's been on every rooftop in their city for 20 years — these are people running real businesses, managing real teams, dealing with real complexity.
And yet, most of them have never had a clear picture of where their revenue is actually going. Not because they aren't smart. Because the kind of analysis that would show them that picture has always been available only to businesses big enough to hire consultants. The independent contractor doing $400k a year doesn't have a CFO. They don't have a business analyst. They have a phone, a truck, and 50 hours a week of work in front of them.
The average home service business loses $40,000–$100,000 per year in four specific places. The math on all four is simple. The problem is nobody ever shows you the math for your specific business.
— The problem RevAnalysis was built to solveThose four places are: unconverted leads that never got followed up, dead leads sitting in a pipeline with no re-engagement, customers who had a great experience and never heard from the business again, and referrals that were never asked for.
RevAnalysis changes that. The diagnostic asks you the 34 questions that matter — your actual lead volume, your close rate, your average job value, your retention — and then calculates, precisely and conservatively, what each gap is costing you annually. Then it builds you a complete recovery plan specific to your numbers, your trade, and your city.
This isn't a generic PDF with advice like "follow up with your leads more." It's a document that says: "At 72 leads per month and a 44% close rate, you're losing approximately 15 jobs per month against the HVAC industry benchmark of 65%. Here is the exact script to follow up on unconverted estimates. Here is the 5-touch sequence. Here is what to say on day 0, day 2, day 5, day 10, and day 21."
That's the difference. And that's what $497 buys you.
What we believe
Specificity over generics
One actionable insight built from your actual numbers is worth more than 50 pages of generic advice.
Honest math
Every figure is conservative. We'd rather understate the opportunity and overdeliver than oversell.
Built for operators
You have a business to run. Scripts, plans, and actions — not theory, frameworks, or homework.
Data-backed decisions
Every benchmark comes from published industry research — not gut instinct or generic SMB averages.
The data we use
Every benchmark in RevAnalysis comes from published industry research. We maintain separate benchmark sets for each of the 10 trades we cover — because a plumbing business and a landscaping business have fundamentally different performance benchmarks. Using a generic small business average would make the analysis meaningless.
We publish anonymized aggregate insights from completed diagnostics on our Data page. This data gets more valuable as more businesses complete the diagnostic — eventually building the most accurate real-world dataset of home service business performance metrics anywhere.
